Russ Brown is the Director of Information Services for Russell Corporation and is responsible for information services for the Russell's Activewear Business Unit as well as the program management office and key initiatives such as Sarbanes-Oxley IS compliance and RFID across Russell Corporation. Prior to joining Russell Corporation in 1999, Mr. Brown's extensive experience in information systems, project management, systems implementation and materials management extended across several industries and included employment with Hallmark Cards, Emerson Electric's Brooks Division, Georgia-Pacific, American Software, and Lilliston Corporation.
Currently he serves on the Board of Advisors for the Richards College of Business at the State University of West Georgia and on the Advisory Boards to the MIS Department at both Jacksonville State University and at Auburn University. Mr. Brown is an active member of the AAFA IS Committee and the APICS organization through which he earned the CPIM certification.
