Vince Moretti brings 27 years of communication systems and hardware development experience to RFID. Prior to Impinj, he worked at TRW Inc., a defense contractor, developing space and terrestrial modems for both commercial and military customers. Since joining Impinj in 2000, he has acted in the capacity of Vice President of Engineering, helping build Impinj's technical team and RFID reader and tag chip product lines.
In his current capacity as Vice President of RFID Systems, Mr. Moretti is influencing RFID adoption through a number of regulatory and standards committees while continuing to steer the Impinj product roadmap. Mr. Moretti recently accepted an assignment to lead item-level tagging initiatives within Impinj. He earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and is the holder of 18 patents in the field of communications systems.
