Marshall Kay is an independent retail consultant specializing in all aspects of retail RFID, from program strategy to implementation advice and impact analysis. Most recently he led the North American RFID Practice at global management consulting firm Kurt Salmon Associates, helping clients in North America, Europe and Asia evaluate and deploy RFID within their respective businesses. Marshall co-authored the white paper "Moving Forward with Item-Level RFID in Apparel & Footwear", an acclaimed blueprint for adoption of RFID. Marshall is a repeat contributor to RFID Journal and has been interviewed by BusinessWeek, Fortune, STORES, Apparel, and Women's Wear Daily for his perspectives on RFID and collaborative commerce. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Michigan Business School.
