Samuel Bloch da Silva

Samuel Bloch da Silva has a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Campinas, and has more than 20 years' experience in systems and processes related to PCP (kanban, MRP) and logistics (WMS, TMS), with projects implemented in Brazil and abroad. Mr. Bloch da Silva worked for Embraer for almost 10 years, where he implemented the RFID project synchronization of the company's materials assembly line for the ERJ 170/190 airplane, within a vision of "pull production." He completed a six-month internship as a visiting scholar in a University of Cambridge (UK) Auto-ID Lab project in the area of track and trace supply chain aviation. Currently, Mr. Bloch da Silva is a researcher at Centro de Competência em Manufatura, as well as a Ph.D. candidate at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica–ITA.
