Coming to this RFID Journal conference is always very interesting.
Flyable RFID Project Leader, Airbus Resource Planning-OCR
We can't just cover everyone by staying in our office and waiting for calls-that's really why we were coming...I've mostly been to the manufacturing track. I think it is interesting, because it's close to what we do in aerospace at Airbus. We share some common objectives and common expectations.
We attended a presentation yesterday from the steel industry in Germany that was really good. It is very close to the environment we work in, with lots of steel and harsh environment-all this weather and challenges that we have.
Hayles Packaging Systems
The general sessions yesterday were extremely enlightening, particularly the presentation by Nestlé.
DHL Innovation Center
Yesterday, I was in the workshop with colleagues from the transport industry. TNT presented, and it was really significant to me to understand their positioning. That is a significant indicator for us, to see what competitors or colleagues in the supply chain really do.
Global Manager, Strategic Innovations
This technology development [RFID] will bring business to the next level, like the bar code did in the past.
For me, it was a very interesting event. I especially appreciate the different suppliers who are new and have innovative products.
RFID is state-of-the-art, and is driving what people are going to use tomorrow.
Managing Director, EMEA
We've got a good number of leads. A number of people are finding out what kind of projects we're doing, and it's a good show.
It's been very good-the quality of visitors [to our booth] has been very good, and the contacts are generally much higher-caliber then what we have seen at other exhibitions.
It is a good place to find partners for future projects.
