RFID for Warehouse and Inventory Management

This one-day preconference seminar will introduce participants to RFID applications in inventory and warehouse management. The course will present practical examples of how RFID technologies realistically enable inventory-management best practices. Participants will learn how to quantify savings and benefits by RFID-enabling warehouse- and inventory-management operations, and the presenter will explain how to build a working RFID portal for automated receiving and inventory tracking.

This workshop is designed for senior executives of companies that have already deployed-or currently seek to deploy-RFID systems. It will focus on helping companies formulate an RFID strategy that will lead to greater competitive advantage and shareholder value. As part of the workshop, each participating end-user company or organization will be entitled to five free hours of one-on-one follow-up discussions with the presenter, to be scheduled after the event.

About the Presenter
In 2001, Mark Roberti had the vision to recognize that radio frequency identification would become an important technology in the 21st century, and so he launched RFID Journal to provide information that would help businesses deploy the technology successfully. He speaks with end users, researchers, vendors and consultants on a regular basis, and has advised many firms regarding their RFID deployments and strategies.
