David Meyer has an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from the University of Iowa. During his time at Rockwell Collins, he has held a variety of positions in operations, ranging from engineer and production manager to engineering manager and program manager. In his current position, acts as a manager of manufacturing programs in operations, with a focus on liquid crystal display (LCD) products. David has been a Rockwell Collins long-term member on the ATA Spec 2000 permanent-identification task force. He led the Rockwell Collins Air Transport Systems effort to implement ATA Spec 2000 Permanent Barcode ID and is currently involved in RFID implementation.
