Ernie Redfern Ernie Redfern is the chief information officer for Blommer Chocolate Co., the largest producer of bulk chocolate in North America. Mr. Redfern began his career in information technology while serving in the U.S. Army, designing and implementing secured communications systems for the National Security Agency (NSA). He worked on the initial Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET) for the U.S. Department of Defense, which later became known as the Internet. He also started a company, LANAC Technology Corp., which specialized in assisting other firms in implementing financial and analytical system to monitor critical business matrixes. Mr. Redfern has appeared as an expert witness on the Internet in a number of court proceedings.
