RFID Journal LIVE! Brasil 2015 to Feature Two Co-located Events

IEEE Brasil will again host its RFID conference, and CPqD will host its second International Workshop on RFID and IoT in conjunction with the event.

RFID Journal announced today that two co-located events—IEEE Brasil RFID 2015 and CPqD's International Workshop on RFID and the Internet of Things—will be held in conjunction with this year's RFID Journal LIVE! Brasil conference and exhibition. LIVE! Brasil will take place on Oct. 7-8 in São Paulo and will focus on RFID technology and its many business applications across all major industries.

CPqD will hold its second annual International Workshop on RFID and the Internet of Things on Oct. 8. This workshop will bring together international and national experts, and promote a roundtable with Brazilian government officials to discuss the opportunities and challenges the country faces regarding RFID technologies. Presenters will explore the challenges and trends in the technology's development, including products and services, as well as their applications in both the Brazilian and world markets.

The latest scientific and technological research results will be presented to attendees of IEEE Brasil RFID, also scheduled for Oct. 8. Guests will be able to meet and learn from the scientists and engineers at the head of the RFID research world, as well as pick their brains and learn from their efforts. The talks, papers and posters offered at the conference are selected by a thorough peer-review process performed by domestic and international experts in the field.

LIVE! Brasil will showcase leading end users presenting powerful real-world case studies. These presentations, offered in Portuguese (with English translations), will highlight how businesses are employing RFID, and where they are achieving real benefits today.

The content is designed to help Brazilian companies considering an RFID deployment to address real business challenges, determine the best technology to meet their needs, learn best practices from early adopters, find the right technology partners and move forward with adoption. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the leading technology firms and view their latest solutions.
