Mike Celentano is the Associate Director, Supply Chain and RFID Systems as well as director of logistics IT at Purdue Pharma, a mid-size pharmaceutical manufacturer operating several production and distribution facilities on a SAP R/3 4.7 platform. Celentano recently oversaw Purdue’s successful RFID pilot project to add an RFID label to individual bottles of pharmaceutical product on a high-speed bottling line. He and his team have overcome the complex challenges unique to taking on a unit-level RFID tagging initiative in a pharma manufacturing and distribution environment. Celentano currently serves as co-chair of the policy committee of EPCglobal’s business action group for health care and life science.
Rick Bauer is the senior director of RFID technical research for Paxar Corporation. His team is responsible for Paxar's RFID smart label research, development, manufacturing, and successful launch to the market. Prior to his current position, Bauer managed the company's quality control and printer research, and directed printer and supply manufacturing and the research, development and management of supplies products. Prior to joining Monarch Marking Systems (later acquired by Paxar) in 1984, Bauer worked for 10 years at General Motors. He holds a B.S from the General Motors Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton.
Bill Allen is the UHF channel strategy manager for Texas Instruments RFid™ Systems. Allen also is a leading spokesman before industry associations and government agencies on issues surrounding RFID technology and applications, from wireless payment to new EPC supply chain initiatives. He is chairman of the RFID Action Group for AIM, the global trade association of the automatic identification industry. Allen heads the RFID privacy taskforce, and is widely quoted in industry journals and business publications on topics ranging from the future of RFID to consumer protection and technology safeguards.
Anant Ahluwalia leads initiatives at Hannaford Bros. to upgrade order fulfillment, procurement and distribution systems. Prior to joining the company, which operates supermarkets and food and drug combination stores in New England and New York, Ahluwalia worked at the Rockport Company, where he developed distribution systems for global distribution of apparel and footwear.
Jinan AbouShakra is the president and CEO of CODE Plus, Inc., a leading provider of logistics automation solutions founded by AbouShakra in 1995. CODEplus helps its customers operate efficiently within the supply chain by using RFID. AbouShakra has extensive experience leading supply chain management and software engineering companies, and she is frequently consulted about improving operations and logistics processes. AbouShakra holds a bachelor's degree in software engineering from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in Project Management from George Washington University.
Jon Andresen is the president of Technology Solutions, a consultancy focused on part marking, part traceability, UID, Spec 2000 eBusiness, data lifecycle and business/technology integration. Andresen’s clients include the U.S. Department of Defense, Boeing Helicopter, Bombardier, Honeywell and Northrop Grumman. He has served as the technical architect at United Airlines and the chair of the Air Transport Association’s Spec 2000 bar code taskforce. In 1997, Andresen was the recipient of the Don Percival Award in recognition of his contributions to the application of automatic identification and data capture technologies. Andresen holds a master’s degree from MIT.
Matthew Anderson has been an information technology specialist with the U.S. Social Security Administration for eight years. Anderson is the technical lead for the testing and implementation of RFID for asset tracking, access control and supply chain management. His work focuses on the use of technology to help create more efficient business processes. 
Alan Estevez is responsible for development of global supply chain management and distribution policies to support military operational requirements. Previously, Estevez was responsible for development of DoD policy in support of strategic mobility and transportation programs and played a critical role in the development of the Logistics Automatic Identification Technology Implementation Plan. Estevez managed the U.S. Army’s program to correct logistics deficiencies identified during Operation Desert Storm. Estevez holds degrees from Rutgers University and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and is the recipient of the Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Civilian Service.
Ron Bone is responsible for the field implementation of the SD Module of SAP as well as for operation processes and regulatory issues for the pharmaceutical supply division of McKesson. Bone is currently focused on RFID implementation and secure supply chain issues. He has worked for McKesson for 32 years in a number of senior operations and sales management positions.
Elizabeth Board was appointed executive director of the EPCglobal Public Policy Steering Committee (PPSC) in April 2004. The PPSC was created to foster dialogue with key public policy audiences for issues related to EPC technologies and the EPCglobal Network. Board has been a public affairs consultant on privacy and other issues for a variety of industries, politicians and corporate executives. Before joining the communications office of President Ronald Reagan, Board worked in the Washington, D.C. bureau of NBC Network Television News.
Sean Campbell areas of expertise include demand planning, supply planning, replenishment planning, order fulfillment and supply chain organizational design. At IBM, he is responsible for defining and executing IBM's RFID solution strategy for the retail, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical and travel and transportation industries. He joined IBM from PwC Consulting. Campbell holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.
John Cass is the director of operations for RFID research and adoption for AmerisourceBergen, one of the largest pharmaceutical services companies in the U.S. Cass brings to this role more than 30 years experience applying distributed, mobile auto-identification technology in a variety of industries.
Loek d'Hont is the chief technology officer at Sirit Technologies, a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of RFID reader technology, products and solutions. D'Hont has played a key role in developing RFID technology from a seminal idea into an applied solution, and he holds more than 25 registered patents. Prior to joining Sirit, d'Hont spent 20 years working in defense systems, semiconductor and consumer electronics groups at Texas Instruments. He was instrumental in the development of the core RFID technology behind the ExxonMobil SpeedPass payment system, developed by ExxonMobil in cooperation with Texas Instruments.
Royanna Chappell has over 15 years of experience in the supply chain execution industry. She has held numerous positions with SCE providers throughout her career, focused on delivering solutions to the customer. At RedPrairie, Chappell is responsible for RFID product marketing and for leveraging RFID technology to achieve customer gains.
William Colleran brings 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry to Impinj. Prior to joining the company, he was director of business development for Broadcom. Earlier, he was the CEO of Innovent Systems, later sold to Broadcom. Colleran has extensive engineering-design experience, both as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies and as senior staff engineer.
Navin Chandaria is president and chief executive officer of Conros Corporation, a privately-held manufacturer in Toronto and the largest maker of artificial fireplace logs in North America. Chandaria has led Conros' to implement compliant RFID technologies that support the retail community's evolving technology and logistics requirements.
Daniel Deavours is a research professor at the University of Kansas's Information and Telecommunication Technology Center (ITTC) and is currently working with the Bluetooth SIG assessing interoperability of Bluetooth devices. Recently, Dr. Deavours became research director at the ITTC's RFID Alliance Lab, a not-for-profit testing facility that provides objective benchmarking reports on RFID equipment. Deavours holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering and a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
