RFID Journal and Univ. of Arkansas’s RFID Research Center Offer Cold Chain Preconference
Mar. 1, 2007—RFID Journal, the world’s leading media and events company covering radio frequency identification (RFID), today announced that it is partnering with the University of Arkansas's RFID Research Center to host a pre-conference seminar, "RFID in the Cold Chain," at RFID Journal LIVE! 2007. The RFID Research Center will also demonstrate five applications of RFID technology in the event’s 86,000 sq.-ft. exhibit hall, April 30 to May 2, in Orlando, Florida, at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. RFID Academic Convocation to Be Held at RFID Journal LIVE! 2007
Dec. 5, 2006—The RFID Academic Convocation conference co-chairs announced plans to hold the fifth RFID Academic Convocation in the United States, co-located with RFID Journal LIVE! 2007, the leading RFID conference and exhibition, which will be held April 30 to May 2, in Orlando, Fla. The convocation is co-chaired by Bill Hardgrave, director of the RFID Research Center at the University of Arkansas; John Williams, director of research at the Auto ID Labs at MIT; and Steve Miles, a researcher at the Auto-ID Labs at MIT. RFID Journal Announces Keynote Speakers For RFID Journal LIVE! 2007
Nov. 20, 2006—RFID Journal, the world’s leading media and events company covering radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, announced today that Wal-Mart CIO Rollin Ford and Sara Lee CIO George Chappelle will be among the keynote speakers at RFID Journal LIVE! 2007, RFID Journal’s fifth annual conference and exhibition. This event, the world’s largest RFID conference and exhibition, will be held April 30 to May 2, 2007, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla. The conference program will feature more than 50 objective end-user case studies and how-to sessions led by RFID experts with real-world RFID experience.
