Sylvanus Bent is a key coauthor of EPCglobal's ALE and EPCIS specifications. As CEO of Bent Systems, which provides the EPCIS-Savant Network Service, he is a recognized expert on RFID solutions. Prior to Bent Systems he led the effort winning "Supply Chain Solution of the Year", Deloitte 2003. His 25 years of experience includes co-founding Network24 acquired by Akamai, and previous leadership at, IBM and Apple contributing to the development of UML and XML.
