Peter Linke is a co-founder of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, Inc., and currently oversees the American operations as well as all sales and marketing at the global level.

Recognized as one of the RFID industry’s pioneers, Linke first became intrigued with the technology’s potential and virtually limitless possibilities in the early 1990’s.  As Linke explored the feasibility and market possibilities for a number of RFID-based applications, he was convinced that well-thought-out long-range RFID solutions would be exceptionally well received within a number of major markets.

As a result of the technology’s growth potential, Linke located and partnered up with other noted RFID technology experts who were later instrumental in the founding of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS.  Initially based in British Columbia, Canada, IDENTEC SOLUTIONS has grown into an internationally recognized global leader of active-RFID-based asset tracking systems, with offices located throughout the globe.

Prior to rejoining IDENTEC SOLUTIONS in March of 2006, Mr. Linke spent three years as the VP of Sales for I.D. Systems, Inc. (NASD:IDSY), a New Jersey based RFID firm focused heavily on mobile asset tracking.  During the time Mr. Linke held that position, annual revenues rose from $6.8M to $19M and market capitalization of the company rose from US$52M to well over US$200M.

Prior to the original founding of IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, Mr. Linke held a number of senior level positions, including President and CEO of Ward Laboratories, Inc., and Vice President, Western Region of CCSI.

Mr. Linke holds a Masters of Business Administration from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.
