Verayo offers security and authentication solutions based on a silicon biometrics technology known as Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs).The company introduced its PUF-based unclonable RFID ICs in September 2008. PUF technology was invented at MIT by a team led by Prof. Srini Devadas. Dr. Devadas, in partnership with Tom Ziola (formerly of Microsoft) founded Verayo in 2005. Verayo, headquartered in San Jose, Calif., is funded by Khosla Ventures and has an advisory board culled from the semiconductor and security industries.
