David Parry is focused on projects that derive activity information from logs of RFID tag detection, as well as the use of radio frequency identification to support the disabled and elderly in their homes. Current research projects include the use of RFID in health care, fuzzy ontology development and implementation and information systems to support health care in developing nations. Mr. Parry is also the editor of Healthcare Informatics Review Online, the journal of Health Informatics New Zealand.
