Brigadier General Michelle Johnson
Director, Strategy, Policy, Programs and Logistics, U.S. Transportation Command

Brigadier General Michelle D. Johnson, a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, completed graduate studies as a Rhodes Scholar before earning her pilot wings in 1984. She has served as the Air Force aide to the president, as an assistant professor of political science and associate air officer commanding at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and as the director of personnel for the military's Air Mobility Command. Most recently, she served as the deputy director for information and cyberspace policy on the Joint Staff, Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate (J-5), in Washington, D.C.
