Don't Miss These Exciting Live Demonstrations in the Exhibit HallDemos: GS1 US RFID Apparel Demo || RFID-Enabled Supply Chains GS1 US RFID Apparel Demo
Retailers are excited about RFID’s ability to dramatically improve in-store inventory accuracy and replenishment, enabling them to sell more goods at a higher price since items are always on the shelf when a customer wants to buy them. But the technology has benefits throughout the supply chain. This series of demonstrations will show how goods can be tracked ftracked from the point of manufacture through a distribution center (DC), to the back of a store, onto the sales floor and at the point of sale. This demo will also show how GS1 standards can be used to ensure the efficient transfer of data among supply chain partners, and you will see some of the latest RFID products designed specifically for these applications. The goods will then be received into inventory automatically at the back of the retail store. Items will be checked against the store order, and will then be put away. As the products are sold, the store will replenish them, using RFID to confirm the proper items are on the floor at all times. This is the future of apparel retailingsee it live in the exhibit hall. Plus, experts present detailed demonstrations at each of these three stations: Manufacturing
Distribution Center
