Co-Located EventsIEEE RFID 2011 is the fifth in a series of conferences addressing the theoretical, technical, and implementation issues related to RF-based identification and communications systems. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on RFID (CRFID) which is a new technical committee in IEEE specially chartered to address the RFID subject. The conference will include visionary keynote presentations, presentations on the latest RFID advances from around the globe, and a full first day (April 12th) dedicated to a tutorial on the basics of RFID and 1 or 2 workshops (additional charge). IEEE RFID 2011 will bring together top researchers and practitioners for a premier technical conference that is collocated with RFID Journal LIVE! 2011. The Internet of Things April 12, 2011 The need for authoritative, ongoing international cooperation in regard to the European agenda for taking the concept of the Internet of Things to reality is pivotal in placing it in the global context it demands. CASAGRAS2—the acronym for an E.U. project known as Co-ordination and Support Action for Global RFID-related Activities and Standardization—provides the necessary conduit for taking the next steps in international collaboration. The project's partners will present a one-day conference in conjunction with RFID Journal LIVE! 2011. RFID Journal LIVE! 2011 is produced by RFID Journal, the World's RFID Authority. |
