Microelectronics Technology Inc. (MTI) and Eficid Release RFID METM Tools for Android App Developers

RFID ME™ Snap, Exporter and Cloud by Eficid simplify third-party Android app development efforts so developers can quickly enjoy UHF RFID benefits right away! To be displayed in MTI Booth #528 at RFID Journal LIVE! 2014 on April 8-10, 2014.

RFID ME™ Snap by Eficid
A free Android app that allows third-party software developers to easily add UHF RFID reading features using MTI's RFID ME™ smartphone and tablet readers. You should try out Snap if you need to capture UHF passive tag information with your Android mobile device. Snap by Eficid is based on Google's Android Development Environment using Intents functions, making overall software integration with use case specific software and customized workflow applications a Snap! If you want to simplify the development effort and reduce the time needed to read EPC Gen2 RFID tags in your app—try out Snap.

RFID ME™ Exporter by Eficid
A free Android app that allows third-party software developers to quickly capture UHF RFID tag information using MTI's RFID ME™ smartphone and tablet readers. The tag information is then exported as a list in text format using any other installed Android app that handles cvs or txt files. With Exporter by Eficid, you can send a list of tag EPCs directly to a mobile spreadsheet app and then save this information in MS Excel format, for instance, or simply e-mail the list immediately as an attached file to any email user. Exporter was created so anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of exporting UHF tag information using RFID METM readers—can do so right away.

RFID ME™ Cloud by Eficid
A free Android app that allows third-party software developers the ability to instantly capture UHF RFID tag information and submit this seamlessly to cloud services through the Android mobile device's powerful network connection features. Cloud implements web services based on a REST architecture style—making cloud integration an easy step on Android smartphones and tablets using MTI's RFID ME™ readers. Cloud by Eficid was created so that you can quickly deploy a cloud-based RFID software solution using MTI's RFID ME™ readers while leveraging the power and benefits of webservices on your Android mobile device.
