12:00 pm Welcome and Introduction

12:15 pm Working Lunch: Adding RFID to Your Auto-ID Toolbox
If you have been selling or installing bar code and other auto-ID technologies, how do you add RFID to your toolbox? What do you need to know about RFID? Where can you or your staff go for training? And is the technology really mature enough at this stage to warrant investing time and money in it? This session will answer all the questions auto-ID channel partners have about RFID in all its forms.

1:15 pm When Does RFID Make Sense For Your Customers?
RFID is neither new nor revolutionary. It has some advantages over other auto-ID technologies, as well as some weaknesses. When is the right time to recommend RFID? When does it make sense to use bar codes? And how can the two systems be successfully implemented? This session reveals the keys to analyzing opportunities and recommending the right strategy for your customers.

2:00 pm What You Need to Know About Standards
Like bar codes, there are different RFID standards. Knowing which industries are adopting which standards is critical to serving the needs of your customers. In this interactive session, one of the foremost experts on RFID standards sorts out why the standards were created, examining when, where and how they are being used today.

2:45 pm Refreshment break

3:15 pm Identifying and Integrating Vertical Market Opportunities
Are you ready to expand your business into new vertical markets? Join ScanSource for an informative session to find out how you can build a vertical market strategy that makes sense for your business. Learn which verticals to target based on your expertise, and get educated on how the newest AIDC and mobility technologies work in certain markets. You'll leave the session with a plan of action for breaking into new verticals.

4:15 pm Invest to Grow
If you are a VAR in the automatic identification and mobility industry, you won't want to miss this workshop. In today's business environment, selling product is not enough. To thrive, value-added resellers must provide customers with solutions to their business problems. Join Bruce as he walks you through moving from a point product model to one that encourages providing total solutions and value-add. Pre-read materials will be provided to all registrants.
