| Jeff Ashcroft, leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers' retail and consumer advisory practice, has over twenty years' experience in the retailing, distribution systems, third-party logistics and supply-chain management business areas. His career began with 15 years at The Hudson's Bay Company, where he moved from a part-time role on the warehouse floor to a senior logistics position. In 1993, Ashcroft joined the Tibbett & Britten Group as director of business development and was the key to the rapid design and deployment of Wal-Mart's third-party distribution and transportation network. In 1997, Ashcroft launched Strategic Logistics Partners, providing unique and innovative services to firms in the logistics, supply-chain management, auto-ID and electronic-commerce fields. Most recently, he has developed and led the Supply Chain Network Project, an RFID and supply-chain-management industry initiative, part of the PwC Logistics/Supply Chain practice.
