GS1 Canada, in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Economic development and Trade (MEDT), has established the GS1 Knowledge Centre, a source of supply chain and business education subsidized by the Government of Ontario and designed specifically for SMEs. Collaborating with the MEDT has allowed GS1 Canada to offer a series of 12 education sessions free of charge to Ontario businesses, in addition to the RFID Journal LIVE! Canada preconference RFID Technology: Small Investment for Big Benefits, which will provide in-depth information on how replacing bar codes with RFID can help their business prosper.
