GM/Suzuki Factory Accelerates Vehicle Production Via Active RFID
CAMI Automotive, a joint venture between Suzuki Motor Corp. and General Motors of Canada, is using an RFID real-time locating system to optimize operations at a plant that produces 250,000 vehicles per year.The system accelerates the processing of receiving parts deliveries and ensures that the right parts are brought to the right assembly line work station just in time.
