Mike O'SheaMike O'Shea has been with Kimberly-Clark for 28 years and is currently the company's Global Director of Auto-ID Sensing Technologies. O'Shea leads K-C's global RFID development efforts to prepare for global deployment of RFID into the company's business processes. He serves as industry co-chair of EPCglobal's Retail Supply Chain Industry Action Group, helping to define the end user requirements in the CPG value chain; he also sits on the EPCglobal Business Steering Committee; Joint Strategy Planning Committee; and chairs the Certification Advisory Council. Previously, O'Shea represented K-C on MIT's Auto-ID Center Board of Directors. In September 2005, The K-C RFID Solution Center was on of the first lab to receive the status of an EPCglobal Accredited Performance Test Center. Kimberly-Clark initiated the shipment of RFID enabled cases in April 2004 and today has various pilot and deployment activities underway around the world.
