Machine Learning Within the IoT: Leveraging BLE Sensors to Monitor the Performance and Health of Equipment
Manufacturing organizations have begun utilizing a wireless system that employs RFID and other technology to capture sensor data from high valued equipment, and to identify problems as soon as a change in performance. During this session, learn how HID’s revolutionary Condition Monitoring Service, enabled by Bluvision, leverages BLE sensors and a cloud-based platform that is transforming the condition monitoring ecosystem. Texmark Chemicals Launches Refinery of the Future With IoT
Petrochemical company Texmark Chemicals, the largest North American producer of dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)—a chemical used in resins, inks, adhesives and paints—has completed the first phase of a deployment to create what it calls a "Refinery of the Future." The solution starts with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to track wireless sensor data on two of its most critical pumps. The deployment is one part of a holistic plan to manage safety and efficiency using cameras, Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies, all on a single platform. Learn how the firm is using the technology to collect real-time data regarding the function of critical pumps on the plant floor, with the long-term goal of managing assets, employee safety and access, via video and other wireless technologies.
