Director, Partner Development, RFID & Sensor Technologies
Chris Foley coordinates Sybase’s RFID and sensoring partner channel development activities, after serving Sybase previously as Director of RFID Solutions. Mr. Foley has also served as Director of RFID Business Development at iAnywhere Solutions, a Sybase subsidiary and as General Manager of RFID/M2M (Machine-to-Machine) at XcelleNet, which was acquired by Sybase in April 2004. In this capacity at XcelleNet Mr. Foley developed and led the company’s RFID/M2M business entry strategy. He has also served as a member within key EPCglobal Software Action Group (SAG) working groups, such as Reader Management and Reader Protocol. In previous positions at XcelleNet Mr. Foley has served as Director of Technology Planning, Product Line Manager and Systems Architect. Prior to joining XcelleNet in 1998 he founded and operated MicroSERVE Technologies, Inc., an Atlanta-based IT consulting firm and Sports Applications, Inc., a software development business that provided line-of-business applications for professional sports teams. Mr. Foley began his professional career in 1982, serving as Head of Computer Operations for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.
