RFID Professional Institute Certified Associate Exam
The RFID Professional Institute was founded in 2012 to develop standardized certification examinations to promote professionalism in the radio frequency identification industry. The organization will launch a beta exam at this year's RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition, enabling attendees to be among the first to become RFID Institute certified.
The purpose of the beta exam will be to ensure the quality of the questions, and to weed out any that are poorly worded or misleading. Those who pass the beta exam will receive an RFID Institute certificate. The institute plans to update the test on an annual or biannual basis, so you will need to pass future exams in order to remain certified. This will ensure that credential holders are up to date on the latest advances in RFID technology.
The certification exam costs $150 (the price is included in the cost of a the certification training course). Tests will be held during RFID Journal LIVE! 2015, at the San Diego County Convention Center, in San Diego, Calif., on Apr. 16, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, and on Apr. 17, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. To register for the exam without taking the training course, select the RFID Professional Institute Certified Associate Exam when you register for RFID Journal LIVE! 2015. You will be asked to select the exam time of your preference.
