The 14th annual conference and exhibition will feature the Internet of Things Conference 2016, IEEE RFID 2016 and the Last Mile Consortia Forum.

NEW YORK, Feb. 18, 2016—RFID Journal announced today that three co-located events will be held in conjunction with this year's RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition, an event focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and its many business applications. This year, LIVE! will be held on May 3-5, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The co-located events are the Internet of Things Conference 2016, IEEE RFID 2016 and the Last Mile Consortia (LMC) Forum.

The Internet of Things Conference will be held on May 4-5, and will feature leading end users of IoT technologies, as well as several leading providers of IoT solutions. In addition, there will be an Internet of Things pavilion in the LIVE! exhibit hall. The Internet of Things Conference will cover the technologies required to connect things to the Internet, including ZigBee radios, Wi-Fi, machine-to-machine software and cloud computing, as well as applications across many industries. Speakers will address both business-to-consumer and business-to-business applications.

The Last Mile Consortia is a group of companies that together are able to provide every aspect of the scope required to enable new and usable railway connections and terminals. The LMC Forum will feature a group of experts presenting on the main uses of RFID across rail operations, passenger support, freight security and intermodal visibility, as well as the impact on standards, regulations and cost-effective end-user models.

LIVE! 2016 will also feature four industry-specific and four technical conference tracks, as well as six in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conference seminars, the RFID Journal Awards, fast-track training provided by RFID4U, and RFID Professional Institute certification. What's more, the event will offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry's leading technology firms. For more information, visit www.rfidjournalevents.com/live.
